What to Wear to Your RAPID Session (And Why It Matters)

You stay clothed — but what you wear matters

Unlike massage therapy, RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is performed fully clothed. There's no oil, no draping, no undressing. But because the treatment involves active movement and Kevin needs to access specific areas along the bone, what you wear can affect how effective the session is.

What works best

Fitted, stretchy clothing. Think athletic wear — leggings, joggers, a fitted t-shirt or long-sleeve top. Fabric that moves with your body and doesn't bunch up.

For upper body issues (shoulders, neck, elbows): a t-shirt or tank top gives Kevin easy access to the arms, neck, and upper back. Avoid thick hoodies or layered tops.

For lower body issues (knees, hips, back, plantar fasciitis): shorts or thin leggings work well. Avoid stiff jeans or thick cargo pants — Kevin needs to feel along the periosteum, and thick fabric makes that harder.

Footwear: wear shoes that slip on and off easily. Kevin may need to work on your feet or lower legs.

What to avoid

  • Jeans or stiff denim — limits your movement and Kevin's access
  • Bulky sweaters or hoodies — fabric bunches and obscures anatomy
  • Belts — get in the way during hip and lower back work
  • Jewelry on the treated area — watches, bracelets, or necklaces that cover the problem area should be removed

Don't overthink it

If you're coming straight from work and can't change, Kevin works with what you have. The session will still be effective — optimal clothing just makes it a bit easier. Many clients keep a pair of shorts or a t-shirt in their car for appointments.

Beyond clothing

Come ready to describe your main issue: where it hurts, when it started, what movements make it worse, and what you've already tried. That conversation shapes the entire session. Here's the full breakdown of what to expect.
